It is important that as we grow, you do too! The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will work with the General Manager (GM) and the Area/Regional Manger (AM) to provide leadership, structure, and training in the following areas:
customer service, menu knowledge, salad building, conflict resolution, scheduling issues, and day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
The AGM will also keep Forage's ambiance fun, informative, and inclusive for guests and staff.
The AGM will play an integral role in training, controlling food costs, meeting labor requirements, and customer service.
Schedule:
Wednesday through Sunday.
Anticipate working weekends & holidays that we are open.
During the weekdays, you may need to work 10:
30am to 2pm and 4:
30pm to 8:
30pm, during the weekend the shifts range between the hours of 11am and 8:
30pm.
Specific Tasks Include, but are not limited too:
Resolving customer service issues in line with Forage's mission Communicating with online partners and working with online partner issues Troubleshooting technical issues (internet, POS, RedCard, online partners) Keeping Salad Builders on task Stocking/restocking all areas of the restaurant, and/or facilitation of that Appropriately delegating to employees Keeping a 10,000ft view of the restaurant while working within it Continual training and monitoring of:
portions, guest interactions, co-worker interactions, food quality, etc.
Data entry and invoice entry.
Monitoring schedules and providing scheduling input Helping with interviews for Salad Builders & Shift Leaders Answer or facilitate questions from co-workers and guests Communicate what we do well and what we need to work on after each shift with GM and weekly with AM Willingness to cover a shift or high traffic time at the restaurant in the event of an absence or need.
Step in for the GM when required.
