Responsibilities would include managing and supervising all staff activities, including hiring, training, performance, scheduling and separations.
The Dispensary Manager ensures that all transactions and the implementation of other retail processes comply with state and local laws and regulations and that service exceeds customer expectations.
The Dispensary Manager collaborates to develop and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support a performance and results-driven culture to ensure success at their assigned location.
Full-time position available Monday through Sunday between 8AM and 9PM.
Employment will include an initial training and probationary period.
Training will be provided.
Applicants should be 21 years of age or older.
Applicants should have three years in progressively responsible retail experience, including at least one year in a management position.
Please include information regarding daily retail sales experience, management experience, inventory management, working a cash register, computer skills including POS/inventory tracking software.
Applicants should have a general familiarity with computers which should include word processing, email, and printing/scanning of files and documents.
Cannabis specific experience is applicable.
Cannabis related certifications and knowledge of traceability system(s) preferred.
Applicants should be friendly and courteous.
This position will require a high level of customer service, organizational skills, multitasking and often will involve dealing with persons suffering from pain or other symptoms, looking to find relief.
Patience, professionalism, confidentiality, and understanding when dealing with everyone is of the greatest importance.
All applicants are required to undergo an FBI background check and fingerprinting through the state of Illinois, as required by state law.
No individual is allowed to work in a licensed cannabis facility prior to undergoing a background check, being fingerprinted, and receiving their cannabis dispensary agent card from the State of Illinois.
Additional knowledge of cannabis varieties, products, treatment options regarding various ailments, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and the state program (Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act 410 ILCS 705, IDPH Title 77 IL Adm.
Code 946, IDFPR Title 68 IL Adm.
Code 1290) is encouraged.
All employees are required to undergo an orientation and training period.
