Performs routine and extensive groundskeeping and routine building maintenance duties to ensure all commercial properties owned by Fox Development Corporation and managed by FDC, LLC are maintained in top condition.
Reports To:
Tenant Services Manager and Maintenance Manager Essential Duties:
Maintain building and site landscaping Trims and edges around walks, flower beds, walls, etc.
Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf and irrigation; prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth; applies mulch Prevent and eliminate weeds Rake leaves, keep grounds free from trash, litter and debris, and empty trash receptacles Removes snow and ice from building walkways and steps Maintains outdoor furniture and fixtures Proactively identifies areas that need upkeep or maintenance and informs supervisor Document materials and man hours Work independently or as part of a team to efficiently complete projects May perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping May perform routine building checks and routine labor and maintenance duties when grounds keeping work has been completed.
Qualifications:
Loves working outdoors Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Knowledge of grounds keeping equipment and landscaping; one year of responsible experience in grounds keeping Proficient in using manual and power tools safely Ability to move, lift, pull, or push objects or materials weighing up to 75 pounds Ability to speak, read and write English, comprehend instructions, and write brief summaries of work performed Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to spot issues and address quickly and efficiently Flexibility and adaptability in priorities, tasks, and schedule Job Type:
