The benefits of autonomous technology enables boaters to confidently operate vessels and focus on pleasurable aspects of boating. The successful Autonomy Simulation Principal Engineer:
Develops and implements marine focused simulation capabilities Work cross-functionally to train and/or evaluate sensing solutions, perception algorithms, and system robustness Drives technical solutions from innovation to product development pipeline and ultimately to production Provides technical guidance to engineers and software developers in creating procedural environments, digital twins, and perception algorithms Key responsibilities Specific activities include leading simulation activities for autonomous vessels Provide technical leadership in simulation for autonomous systems development and validation Evaluate sensor/algorithm capability to deliver requirements of the targeted operational design domains for marine autonomy Lead engineers and interns in creation of autonomous systems simulation capabilities and product solutions Required Experience/Skills BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline Strong knowledge of simulation tools for autonomous systems 3 or more years of experience solving challenges on product delivery of autonomous systems 3 or more years of experience working with high fidelity 3-D simulation software Experience working with Python and C+
Preferred Experience/Skills:
M.S. or Ph.D. in STEM related fields Experience with Ansys VRXperience, Ansys Scade, Ansys Medini, Ansys SPEOS, Unreal Engine 4, and Simulink Experience modeling sensing solutions including Lidar, Radar, Sonar, IR, IMU, stereovision and other camera Systems Familarity with agile software development and the development of analysis workflows for product development, verification, and validation This position will be based out of the Brunswick i-Jet Lab in Research Park on the UIUC (University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign) campus and will require moderate domestic travel. #LI-Onsite We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
